With 20+ years of experience in the film industry, Mick has been involved in Hollywood's transformation from Film to Digital. Mick was introduced to filmmaking at an early age by his father, the renowned Director of Photography Angelo Pacifici. Before finishing high school, Mick had already working in the Camera Department. With his sights set high, Mick went to CSULB to get his BA in Film and Electronic Arts. Studying under some of the premier lighting Cinematographers, Mick had the opportunity to prepare himself for the Digital Age, which was about to sweep through Hollywood.
In 1998, as Mick finished his BA, the first High-Definition cameras were introduced and Mick found himself occupying a brand new role, that of a Digital Imaging Technician, one which would become integral to every film and television set filming in HD and now “Digital”. Mick, joined Evergreen Studios in 2010 to develop and manage their expanding and increasingly complex 3D Camera Department. With his strong background in digital Cinematography, Mick was a key resource in developing Evergreen's 3D production expertise. Mick played a key role in the design and development of the technology used on Evergreen's productions, Walking With Dinosaurs 3D, BBC Earths’ Enchanted Kingdom 3D, Tales of Honor, National Geographics, And Man Created Dog among other productions.
